Owl Computer Chess Engines Rating List #1

Here is the initial result of the Chess Engines Tournament based on the latest available versions of the strongest chess engines.  It is a 4 round robin where each engine play each other 4 times.  This is running tournament which means that newly created engines or new versions will be added and play a gauntlet of 4 rounds against all the existing participants.

The top three are the familiar characters in most chess engine rating list sites like Houdini, Strelka and Houdini.  The strange contender is Ippolit, the aging father of most of the chess engines in this list which includes the top 3 and almost half of the rest of the contestants.

This 4 round tournament will later be merge with the 100 round matches of the top engines to increase the accuracy of the statistics and produce the official chess engine rating list of this site.

- Ponder off
- Time control: 1 minute + 1 second increment
- Book:  Perfect 2012 up to 6 half-moves
